Kronbauer Eye Candy

Those of you who know me best know I am a big fan of Trevor Kronbauer's builds. I am fortunate enough to have four--a 2007 TDK Adirondack/Macassar Ebony (#107 on YouTube), a 2016 SBX Adirondack/Rosewood , 2017 SBX Adirondack/Flamed Walnut and 2017 TDK Adirondack/Cocobolo. Each of them have their own voice and all are uniquely different customs. What they all share is his consistent meticulous care in building and his artistic knack for combining just the right woods in just the right way. All of his builds are one of a kind and are expressions of the love and devotion he has for his life's work.

In a time when beautiful woods are disappearing Trevor still presents some beautiful examples. I am including some photos of my Cocobolo and Flamed Walnut Models. They are every bit as melodic as they are gorgeous (If you have the time to check out his website, there are other examples of his work).

I have played a lot of guitars over the years but I can honestly say none have given me more joy. I can actually "feel" the tonal resonance when I play. After a crazy day at work, it is a wonderful thing to physically be transported to a very pleasant place.
