good priced ABG?
Hello all. I'm looking for a good quality acoustic bass guitar. Must have pick up and case, and be under $300
Thought about the Dean Exotica (quilted ash IIRC), but saw more bad reviews than good. Like to stay with a known maker, not totally stuck on USA made.

I had a used Olympia (import version of the Tacoma Thunderchief bass). Bought it for $275 off CL, sold it two years later for the same. It was fine, but I much prefer my U-bass. Not to hijack your thread. Basically no acoustic bass guitar is truly useful until amplified, except maybe for solo living room practice, IMO.
