Default Foot Rest or Neckup (guitar support)

Which is your favorite if you are a classical guitar player? and Why?

I never tried a guitar support and have been happy with the foot rest, so foot rest is what I indicated as my preference.

I have severe low back problems (2 fused discs and 5 herniated, bulged and broken discs + complications) so I can't twist at all when seated. The Neck-up allows me to set with both feet flat on the floor and the guitar setting directly in front of my torso so I don't have to twist to the left, even slightly. For me the Neck-up was a god-send.

I like the Barnett guitar support a lot. It's held on by rare earth magnets.

Here's a review of it.

I tried the Neck up support and broke 2 of those plexi-glass inserts.

After more than years year's of use, my support of choice is the De Oro guitar support.
