Ukuleles; end of the rant. Not end of the road
I had some much over due bonding time with my ukulele today.
I was sitting here today thinking, and I realized getting $30 for something I paid $200 for is just ridiculous. So I figured I'd give it other try. So I picked it up, strummed some chords, pick some notes. And I told myself just go with the flow. Just play it like I would guitar. And I enjoyed it a lot more. Then I went on YouTube to find some intermediate blues lessons (even though I'm not really a “bluesy" person) and I actually refueled my desire to play. Some of the stuff is actually pretty difficult and challenging. This is just something I felt like sharing since I put it down pretty hard. So all in all, its not the end of the road for the ukulele. |

There you go. Everyone has his or her own groove, and I'm happy you found yours. Congrats!

Ukulele Mike on utube has a few good tunes. I like his El Condor Pasa lesson and free to boot. It's good fun and a change from guitar for the arthritis.
