Default Angelina - My Duet with Tommy Emmanuel

https://soundcloud.com/jaymenon/ange...tommy-emmanuel

Here is a a track that got a thumbs up from my all time favourite guitarist Tommy Emmanuel himself - his daughter Angelina liked it too...

He wrote it as a tender love song to his little daughter - I tried to stay true to the sentiment of the song. It was quite a challenge to walk a fine line compositionally / lyrically between James Taylor and Stevie Wonder...

And now I can say I did a duet with the great man himself

Nice job - you have a great voice. Did you play the instrumental part as well? That is great that TE and Angelina both were touched by your song. How cool is that?

Thanks guys, you made my day...!

That's Tommy Emmanuel on the guitar, I just wrote some lyrics to the song on my way to work in the car. And later than evening, sang them to his guitar track...

...and it certainly felt nice that both TE and his daughter liked it

Very nice Jay! I can hear Stevie Wonder doing this, Tommy must have been very pleased.
