neck shape on Blackbird Super OM
anybody know what the neck shape on these is? I'm particularly interested in how it compares to the CA Cargo RT. I like the Cargo but the neck profile is shallow for me particularly when I'm fretting the low E with my thumb.

I'm sure the good people at the MacNichol forum can answer that easily for you:

I played them side by side extensively, the neck profile of the Cargo and Rider are basically the same.
BTW, before you buy one you should know that the owner likes to do a bit of price fixing and forces his dealers to sell at map or they will loose their dealer status. I would never own a Blackbird product because of this but if it doesn't bother you than pm me and I'll give you the name of a dealer that will save you a bundle. Gobble gobble |

I just finished a week with the new revised Blackbird Super OM, and I would say the neck was about 1/16" thicker than my GX.

I would agree with Steve. A little thicker than my CA Legacy, I like that it doesn't get as thick as you go up the neck as the Legacy. I could get my thumb around it but it was a little beefier. I remember thinking it would work for me.
