Default Paul's mahogany cedar slope jumbo. Final pics

Mahogany body, cedar top, short scale 24.625, cantelevered fingerboard extension, massive arm and rib bevels, trimmed in koa. And, a first for me, a Spanish cedar neck.

Wow John, that looks GREAT! That is truly a custom guitar with the huge bevels and the custom neck carve!

Have to admit, I think of Mahogany as kind of boring, yeah all you Mahagany lover's can hate on me hahaha, but this guitar really is beautiful and the Mahagany is fantastic!!!

Congrats John and Paul, it is stunning.

I think mahogany and cedar makes a great sound and can look pretty good.

John, I beg to differ, but this guitar looks much better than "pretty good", the tones of the woods are perfect, all the choices are fantastic.

This wonderful guitar gives you every reason to be proud. What a really lovely instrument. I'm sure everyone would love to hear what it sounds like, so, will you be sharing a recording to delight us?

While this guitar is WAY outside my style, it is WAY inside its own. The concept and workmanship appear to be of a piece, nothing out of place! I don't see many that strike me this way. Love it.

Looks beautiful all the way around! And that Mahogany is definitely special. Love the big side markers too! Excellent for we "older" folks who can't see diddly without peepers.

Congrats to both of you. I ditto the desire for a sound clip!

Glad you like the looks Paul. Hopefully playability and sound will be equally pleasing.

Thanks Dennis. The side markers are there to help Paul find his way in dimly lit honky tanks where he is wont to play

Smile On the way...

Hey gang

This monster is on its way across the country in its bombproof Ameritage/Kinnaird case!

My 66th birthday is Thursday. What a B-day present to myself! Yowza.

I will try to get a review up asap. Although it may take me a few days to sober up .... haha

John, I have complete confidence this guitar will "take the cake". Besides, you know who already wants to buy it! Hahahahaha
Not likely while can still play!

Special thanks to Mike/Woody, without whom I might never have discovered John Kinnaird and his awesome work!

Cheers

Paul
