Default Rode NT5 vs ROde NT2A

Hello,

I'm going to get a new condenser microphone in less than 6 months, i'm still saving up until i get about $550.

I'm planning to get one of those microphone, Paired Rode NT5 or a Rode NT2A, with Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface.
Which one will be better? I'm going to use those microphone to record my guitar fingerstyle cover, so i'm going to use it just for my acoustic guitar.

Thanks.

Are you interested in recording your guitar in stereo? If so then your choice is obvious

I don't have either of those mics (I have a pair of M5s), but I'd go for the NT2A, since it's a much more versatile mic (multi-pattern!) and would allow you to record more than just instruments.

I really like (and use) the Rode NT5, but haven't tried the NT2A.
