Default fret wire advice please

Which is "best" fret wire.

As a lay person dont know what i should look for nickel one, steel one, ore something else.

Ofcourse I'm interested with most durable fter wire.

I may be not best guitar player but it is really dont make different for me what tyte of frets i play is it jumbo or else, therefore I'm asking for advice what type of frets i should instole. I'm after Carbon Fibre travel guitar about 22 frets (i didnt decided yet) and scale of 22.83" (580mm).

I like play fingerstyle and sometimes I like to play behind 12th fret up to 18th one.
