Default NGD Tom Anderson Crowdster

I ordered a new Crowdster Plus 2 in February and picked it up this Saturday.
Specs:
  • Arctic Blue Burst with Binding
  • Quilt Maple Top on Mahogany Body
  • Mahogany neck; Rosewood fingerboard
  • Matching Gloss Headstock
  • Natural Satin Neck Back

Otherwise standard fare.
Beautiful guitar + plays great + sounds great =

My local Memphis shop (Martin Music) handled the order. They were kind enough to take pictures for me:

And the two Andersons at home. The Atom is showing the new kid around.

Love those and the Larrivee electrics which are similar in outline. The body shape is just exquisite!

Haven't had the pleasure of plugging one in to dedicated acoustic amp, but I look forward to it.

Nice! You could go for a swim in that top!

I didn't realize that the Crowdsters still had a 4 bolt neck attachment. I wonder if the newer neck attachment won't work with the hollow body...

Congratulations. Love the color. I've had my Crowdster for about five years now, and it's everything it's supposed to be. Just a great gigging guitar, doesn't sound like an electric masquerading as an acoustic, folks are consistently amazed at the tone that comes out of it. I run mine through a Radial PZ Pre, but it sounds great just direct to the board.

The only ways I found to get a bad sound out of it are to (1) get my Bass and Treble controls mixed up, and (2) hit the strings too hard. I needed to lighten up my touch quite a bit, and that eliminated any "quack" at all.

Oh, and (3): don't forget it has a battery! If it suddenly starts sounding like crap, it's probably time to change it.

Fantastic!!! What material is the bridge made of? Can the saddle be sanded down like an acoustic saddle?
