Default ZT Lunchbox Amp (Electric amp)

I picked up one of these used for $99 about a year ago, just to use in my house and as a backup to my Blues Jr.

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ampli...bo-amp?rNtt=zt amp&index=1

I had a gig last night in Brooklyn with my band The Modulators https://www.facebook.com/themodulatorsnj as part of a Powerpopfestival.
We have a LOUD drummer, 2 guitars, bass. This little sucker kept up with our drummer and sounded really good. I was using an Epiphone Casino and a Electro Harmonix Soul Food overdrive. I was astounded. Very good cleans and screaming overdrive with the pedal. One of the coolest things was walking in with my guitar on my back and my amp, pedal and cables in a small duffle bag. The club did have a 4 12' cabinet that I plugged my ZT into. The soundman smirked when he saw the amp, but even he seemed impressed.

So if you are traveling in the city on trains, subways etc. and looking for something very small (approx. 7"x 9" x 4", 12 lbs) for gigs, you owe it to yourself to check out the ZT Lunchbox. You'll be surprised.

using a small watt amp thru the PA or thru a larger cab has become a way of life for a lot of people, regardless of the brand name. i still remember dragging my super reverb from my second story bedroom in my parent's house down to the basement to play thru it. no more!

play music!

Yeah, I used to bring a crate powerblock as a backup to my showman or bandmaster. Then I just started bringing the powerblock...

You can get a 100 watt rms amp (class D, obviously) in a standard footpedal these days. Size does not relate to power any more.

I just snagged a used Lunch Box Jr. It is unbelievable what comes out of that tiny thing.

I think I am going to buy an actual lunch box to carry it in.

I traded a pedal and a few bucks for the Lunch Box Jr.

Use it all the time to noodle around, late nights (my regular amp is too boomy and disturbs the neighbors below us) and for quick band rehearsal. No drums.

I love the fact it has a power supply for pedals, so I often use my ditto looper and hammer out solos, etc.
