I wish I could be happy with one of these.
I've only used a 15" wedge since, forever. Have gone to buy these little amps many times. When I plug in to them. I can't justify the price for the tone. |

My singing partner and I have been using them for about ten years on the “senior living” circuit. They’ve worked really well for us.

I've been using one at our very small Catholic Church to provide music for mass. Me on guitar, wife and friend share a mic.
I didn't think it would be loud enough but the attendees really enjoyed it and it was plenty loud. Like I said, a really small church. |

I hate to bring extra stuff, but I do now bring my Loudbox Mini and line out to the board. I like the fullness I get out of this setup.

Been using it for almost three years and get comments for the nice sound.
I've never had another, so I cannot compare. Lately I am using two of them, in open spaces or noisy environments. I just connect the XLR out with the mic in on the second, works fine so far.

I use a LoudBox mini for all my big band gigs indoors and outdoors.
Mini charge for outdoor gigs when the only power is a generator. Eastman Ar610 with a clip on microphone.

I did once, at a pub. It sounded anemic. Never again, except as a monitor, if I ever need one. Now I mostly just use it for testing gear at home.
I hear the Bose S1 Pro is a good alternative. Worth checking out. |

I use one with gtr/vocals for a monthly Senior Living facility gig. I wanted a simple set up that's easy to transport. I am happy with it.
I think a Bose S1 may be in my future just to have an alternative to the LBM depending on the situation. |

I had a chance to compare a LB Mini to an S1 Pro side by side a few days ago
in my practice room. The S1 was way better to my ear. It was cleaner and more open, and less boxy. I do prefer the ergonomics of the Mini. I was also surprised that the Mini was very heavy to handle vs the S1 Pro. |

I gig with a Loudbox Mini all the time, works fine for acoustic guitar and vocal in a venue the holds 50-150 people. I just bought a Loudbox Mini Charge and can't wait to try it out!
