Default Taylor 514e FLTD 2013 Fall Limited Grand Auditorium AA Flamed Mahogany... MINT!

SOLD.

Hello fellow forum members... I find myself again with too many guitars, it happens all the time it seems, so I'm offering for sale one of my Taylor Guitars. This is an as new, mint condition, Taylor 514e FLTD 2013 Fall Limited Edition Grand Auditorium Acoustic Electric with rare, wild flamed mahogany. It's as new, never hung in a store for display and priced right for a quick sale so no trades or low-ball offers please.

The flamed mahogany used for this guitar is some of the most highly flamed mahogany you'll ever see and was one of the last 2 sets Taylor had available for this limited edition run. The dealer I worked with was contacted by Taylor letting them know that Taylor had only 2 sets of figured mahogany left for their 2013 Fall Ltd Edition Series. These were two of their best sets and they were put aside by the wood selection guys. Of all the sets Taylor received these were special in their opinion (I agree with them) with rare, off the charts flaming for mahogany. More like presentation quality wood. This type of flaming is more associated with AAA flamed Maple and more often only found in small custom shop builders. The dealer purchased both sets. One set was used for a Grand Symphony the other a Grand Auditorium. I purchased the GA. Really amazing wood and they were extra selective with the European Spruce top they chose for it being equal to the back and sides in quality as well. Super nice graining with a ton of cross grain medullary rays which is much more visible in person.

The adirondack bracing really adds punch to the tone and is a unique feature that seriously enhances the tone. Barely played and always stored in it's case in my humidity controlled, non-smoking, music room.

Highlights include... Figured mahogany back and sides, European spruce top with Adirondack CV bracing, figured mahogany top edge trim, figured mahogany and boxwood rosette, boxwood “Avian” fretboard inlay, rosewood binding (body, soundhole, fretboard, peghead and backstrip), rosewood heel cap, boxwood peghead logo, Gotoh gold tuners, Tusq nut, Micarta saddle, Taylor Expression System

A few of these may be on the market but none have this quality of flamed mahogany... see for yourself in the photos below.

A buddy just bought one of these from a local music store for more than this. It's fantastic! In addition to this one being gorgeous, if it is anything like my friend's, it is one of the most evenly balance guitars I've played. And Tom is about as easy as it comes to work with.

I sold the same guitar a few weeks ago, and missed it before it even left. Everything about this model oozes class, and the tone is great. While it's a great guitar in standard tuning, it's down right fantastic in DADGAD. I've bought another Taylor since selling my 514 FLTD, but it doesn't measure up. As I'm typing this, I'm thinking I should buy this one! The Gotoh 510 tuners are an absolute treat.

Remarkable guitar. I love mine, and the example for sale looks like an excellent example! Someone should jump on this quickly!
