Arrow 2021 McKnight Highlander (OM) • another PRICE DROP

I've come to the realization, at my age, I do not need the number of guitars in my collection. I've purchased and sold many, mostly to edify myself on different tonewoods and builders, and what I find pleasing to play and hear. Through this process, I made a promise to myself that I would not buy and keep a guitar I didn't play regularly. My collection has grown to the point where I can't keep that promise and it is time to do a little purge.

Most years I attend the McJam, which is the McKnights' annual gathering. If you haven't been, you should try it. Laid back with plenty of great music and food. Two of my favorite things. Summer 2022 I picked up this spec guitar. The torrified Adi top gives it a wonderfully aged warm tone, better than any Martin I've played. It has plenty of volume when you drive it but it supports finger picking and finger style so nicely. It has fantasic fundamentals. Even across the strings and you can hear each note crisp and full. I knew when I picked it up the first time, I was taking it home. I am the original and only owner.

I conservatively describe it as mint condition. Not a mark on it. Very little fret wear. Action is low and intonation spot on. Tim has included saddle shims if you would want to raise the saddle for any reason. I prefer low action.

Price is now $5,800 net to me (make me a reasonable offer) which includes ground ship/ins to the lower 48 in the US. Last year Tim informed me the replacement value was $9050. Too many guitars in my house so no trades at this time.

Send me an email or PM. Contact info in my profile. Priced to move. Don't lose out!

All my photos of this guitar can be found here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBdjTj

Good luck with the sale Dennis! I'll see you in a few months at the McJam!

(If you consider "thinning the herd" by moving the Froggy, give me a shout.)

As owner of 4 McKnights, including a Highlander (technically owned by my wife, Kathy), I can state that Tim builds world class instruments.

Default Price drop

Price drop: $6,300

Thanks Rodger. I'll give you first chance ahead of posting the Froggy.

For those who haven't tried a McKnight, you shouldn't pass up this chance (a phenomenal price).

I know Tim makes great instruments, and I am possibly thinking of acquiring another guitar this year, but I would prefer a rosewood rather than a mahogany body.

Sorry !!!

All the best in your efforts to sell this fine guitar.
