Default New Song to share

Here is a video of a song I just recently wrote to share with my fellow acoustic guitar lovers. I would love to hear what you all think.

No comments? I hope that doesn't mean this totally sucks. I dig it.

Hello Jason...enjoyed the passion that you played as well as the focus on your lyrics, but...
The repetition in your chords,(sorry for being brutal) , was kinda boring.
Maybe mix your strumming with fingerpick runs? Add a instrumental bridge perhaps pre-chorus, to build dynamics within the tune?
IMHO plain strumming on a tune just "drives my car off a cliff".
But keep up the journey...and love what you do!!!

I agree with Claytone, the song needs some more dynamics. That constant G chord gets a tad annoying after a while (no offence). Other than that I liked it, the lyrics and the concept of the song were great. Just needs a little polish .

Fruitloop, do you mean the D chord in the verses? That is the chord that appears the most. Just wanted to make sure which part you were talking about so I can work on it. I do have a version with the guitar solo that I think I will post this evening though it still probably needs a change in a couple of places.

Thanks for the advice you guys.

Yeah the D-shaped chord is what I was talking about.
