San Francisco/Bay Area Acoustic Blues get-together?

Anyone interested in getting a group together in the San Francisco/Bay Area for an Acoustic Blues get-together? I'm not talking a Jam, where one guy starts to play and 6 Dreadnaughts join in whether they know the music or not….I'm talking about where a bunch of folks who like acoustic blues get together to share cover and self written songs/arrangements/licks, etc. All in acoustic blues genre? I have about 20 songs that would classify as acoustic blues that I regularly sing at a local cafe gig, and would like to add some more, seeing what others are playing and just as an incentive to "prepare" a new blues song for each meeting? Any interest????

I'm very uncomfortable driving distances, but if your location, "Bay Area," means Marin, I think your suggestion sounds like fun.
And, I don't perform. I might do more listening than demonstrating. It's not that I don't have an opinion on everything, but I'm trying to become a better person by talking less.

Sounds like a good idea. Our Crystal Gallery in downtown Sausalito has excellent acoustics, ample space, and a nice selection of guitars, too. The floor displays are on casters, and it's available most nights after 7:00 pm. We've had a few music events, and I would love to have more.

Next Saturday, November 1st, we're hosting Jeff Linskey at 8:00 pm for an evening of acoustic guitar. I'll be posting more details in the Events forum later today. For more info please call 415-729-9559.

We have a bay area group that meets in each others houses once a month. We're mostly on the peninsula, tho some members are scattered all over. We don't really specify a musical style, tho most of us play fingerstyle, a lot of instrumentalists, but some people sing. Blues would fit fine. We organize here:

Blues isn't my thing, but if some folks near SF/Oakland wanted to do a fingerstyle meet up, I'm game as long as it's not on the last Sunday of the month, since that's the meet up Doug mentioned above.
