Are those inlays standard? For some reason, i dont remember seeinh them on the one i played a few months back.

Not being a big Martin person I cant answer that, but Im sure someone can........
I wish it were easier to post photos here, without all the web page hoops ya gotta jump thru, but I guess if it were easier then this sight would be almost unmanagable.
wish I could capture every detail better so you could see those inlays better.

Nice guitar! Those inlays, and abalone rosette and all-gloss finish (as opposed to gloss top only on the 16 series), are what put the SP (special) in the model number. SP is not a fixed spec, but goes with certain models at certain times.
The link below shows my 000-16GT (gloss top) which has the standard 16 series appointments.
