Default My BBC Debut

I was featured on BBC World News, Dec 24th, playing the Bagpipes all over the city of Tokyo. Some of you might have watched it. Here is the clip. Hope you like it.

Great performance. Well done! An old friend of mine, who was from Iran, was a good bagpipe player, and played with an Irish marching band in Cardiff (Wales). So it's not just the Scots who play the pipes I spent some time in Bremen in Germany, and there was a very popular bagpiper busking in the centre. They're popular all over the world.

Congratulations on your new found fame Shamada !

Although I expect that you will know all about these, for the general info of others - there are many musical traditions of bagpipes - from Asia to all over Europe.
