first soundfile
hi folks,
thank you so much for the kind comments. Completing the thread there has to be added a soundfile to show that it has also a breathtaking voice. So I decided that an old song of Michel Legrand could be the best as first impression. I hope you enjoy the windmills of my mind https://soundcloud.com/guitarchie-1/...s-de-mon-coeur all the best guitarchie |

I would be interested too on how that bridge holds onto the top over time. One of the many purposes of a bridge plate, besides being a stop for string ends, is to help create a less flexible surface so the bridge doesn't peel off. Which having a pinless bridge compounds the issue. However, it appears he is trying to compensate for that with the brace pattern beneath the bridge. If that has been working for him, great!

to my opinion it has been working for him, but if you keep an interested eye on the bridge, you will be able to see three parts, where a little hole is closed in a very impressing inconspicuous manner, hiding a little screw, which is supporting the bridge against the tension. all the best guitarchie PS: I honestly have to say, I really enjoyed your olivewood buildthread, congratulations Last edited by guitarchie; 03-06-2018 at 05:42 AM. flageolett
Hi folks,
sorry that I post one more soundexample after the last reply, but it develops still wonderful and the flageolett is breathtaking. Honestly I have to say that the quality of the soundfile is although quite nice far away from the original. https://soundcloud.com/guitarchie-1/...-of-your-smile all the best guitarchie |

sounddevelopment
Hi folks,
again impressed of an old wonderful song of Jim Croce I arranged this one and remarked that it sounded the best on this wonderful soundbox-guitar because of the wonderful sounddevelopment to a warm intensive voice. So I decided to let you take part of this progress. https://soundcloud.com/guitarchie-1/190113-these-dreams by the way, my best wishes for a happy and healthy and peaceful new year. guitarchie |
