A CAGED series of diminished scales
I need to get competent with my diminished scales. It seems the one that gets used most often, at least in the songs I play, is the "whole/half" diminished scale. The problem is I haven't found any fretboard patterns for this scale that simplify things like the CAGED system does for others. Can you point me in the right direction?

The diminished scale being symmetrical, there are only two patterns that repeat up and down the fingerboard.
