1953 Gibson LG-2 - From Toby Walker
SOLD
It's seen it's share of play wear but this guitar sure sounds great. It has the 3 on a plate Kluson tuners, an X braced spruce top, mahogany back and sides, the original bridge, nut and a replaced saddle. The serial number is 504932 and it appears that the small letter 'y' precedes the number. The LG-2 is 24.75" scale and the nut width is 1 11/16" which because of the slim profile of the neck feels just right to me. The action is 3/32 at the 12th fret, and with the low profile, C-shaped neck, this a very comfortable guitar to play. The surface cracks - a few on the back and one on the front do not extend into the body and have been stable for the 4 years that I've owned the guitar. Also has a Fishman Matrix pickup system inside. These guitars were produced from '42 until '62 and were replaced by the B-25 model. Comes with a hardshell case. $1995.00 includes shipping within Continental U.S and Paypal fees.

What a sweet guitar! Canadian dollar so low it has put me out of the guitar business.
Toby it's like your fingers have a mind of their own
