Default Pickguard for EJ strat

I've just bought a new Fender EJ strat in sunburst but I'm not too fond of the white 50s style single ply pickguard. What colour 3-ply guard would you switch it for? I can get hold of 3-ply 8 hole guards.

Cheers

I guess I'd go for the '62 style. White/black/white but the white is that color that some call mint green.

It's unusual for a guitar with a 50's style maple fingerboard to have a '62 style "mint green" pickguard...but I like it.

Brown tortoise shell looks very sharp on a sunburst Strat. White pearloid gives it a "Strat deluxe" look which is also very nice.

Keep it plain (white) would be my advice.
