Cannon sound. I’ve bass in this 12 I’ve not had in my martin or heard in guilds I’ve played. (I come from a time before amplification and we hammered on our acoustics to fill a church)

The girth of the Guitar on paper disappears once you’ve set it on your lap. I was worried about this since I’m only 5’5” and had problems handling jumbos in the past.

The cut out neck is, no other word, AMAZING. I’ve a gxi and it is smoother than the CA. Just walk right up to your 22nd no problems.

That is perhaps my favorite woody top to date.
What a great instrument, I’d love to hear it next to an x20-12.
Does it have a pickup system?

I all cases, congratulations.

Holy Moly!! Just about the time we think we've seen it all, Alistair and a player come up with something new and astounding. Congratulations Doc! If you have the time and equipment, a sound track would be welcomed.

I would be happy to sit down with GuitarDoc and compare his new X30-12 to my X20-12. But he is located in Virginia and I'm in Idaho, so it's not likely to happen......... Nice looking guitar there, Doc.
