Webber with Chocolate Cedar Top - Found One!
Wondering if anyone has a Webber they are willing to sell that has a chocolate cedar top. Also interested in an all mahogany/sapele if there is one out there.
Mainly interested in Cedar/Mahogany or Cedar/Rosewood, but open to interesting ones if they are out there. Please send a PM or email with what you've got and your asking price! I'm hoping to find one in the $1600-2000 range. Last edited by tjvh27; 04-25-2017 at 07:59 PM. |

Webber
There was one at Dusty Strings in Seattle a little while back; I played it - nice guitar. Don't know if it's still there or not. Good luck

Love Webbers! There's one at The Minor Chord with cedar and Tasmanian Blackwood.

Thanks for the info guys, appreciate it! That one at Dusty Strings is tempting, may give them a call and see if they'll negotiate but curious to see what else is out there.
I've got a 000 engelmann/tasmanian blackwood that is my lifetime guitar, looking for something to complement it. |

I think you have to give them a call for pricing.

Webber
The Dusty Strings one is worth checking out; I almost bought it myself, but they had a Collings 01E that I'd been jonesing for and made me a great deal and I took it home instead. Don't let the maple b&s scare you - very fat tone - nothing thin about its tone. And the neck was very comfortable to play. They are a good bunch of folks and will work with you. I've bought and sold a few guitars there. Happy hunting.

Thanks TiredFingers - very helpful to know, I've been hesitant about the maple since I haven't had a chance to try one recently, but sounds like Webber works some magic with it.
Just got offered a great deal on a different guitar yesterday so need to put things on pause until I sell one of mine, but still interested to know what's out there. |

I just played a roundbody at the 12th Fret in Toronto. Cedar over maple. It was such a good deal I almost bought it. A lot of guitar for the money. I think they were asking $1600 CAD.

The search is over and only took a couple days, thanks everyone, love the help you can find here! |
