Honestly...get the Loudbox Mini package and be done with it. You're going to end up spending more money trying to make your system work than you'll spend to get the Mini. You just might be able, with the right add ons, to get something mildly passable out of your current setup, but I really don't think you'll be happy with it.

I agree with the general sentiment here: just get an amp.

Or a powered speaker and a small mixer. You could get a cheap mixer for $100 and a speaker for $100 and be much happier than if you tried to cobble together something.
