Thank you all for the good wishes!! He is quite a little blessing in our home, just can't believe it!!

I'm working on the route this week. It worked out okay because a few others were able to get in on the action due to the delays. Soooooo...I should be able to send it out to the first fellow next week and you all will be notified of your place in the line up. Thank you all again!

Ok...I feel like an idiot. So sorry for the gender mixup! All the good wishes still stand, though. I will slink quietly away now...

(Note: couldn't find an embarrassed emoticon...)

Ha, no worries Mikeal! You're not the only one to make the mistake and I've recently found out that one of my friends mother's name is Lonnie...I had no idea it was a gender neutral name.

Anyway, thanks for all of the good wishes everyone!

Congratulations on the guitar and the baby. Great name and I can see emergence of the guitar player gene quite clearly. Lonnie looks all set to play guitar - his left hand looks ready to fret and his right looks ready to strum!

Best,
Jayne

Thanks again so much for the kind wishes!

The road trip guitar will make it's first travels tomorrow. I have a loose itinerary for it so check your inboxes and please let me know as soon as you can if there are scheduling conflicts.

As I said, the route is loose. We can definitely make exceptions in the midst. I was only trying to map it out to be as economical as it could be for those participating.

Thanks again very much for your interest and participation. I'm going to start a "Road Trip Guitar Impressions" thread for participants to comment in. Hopefully we'll get some great feedback!

Brad, my wife is asking that you send Lonnie along with the guitar. We've got a couple of kids, but they are 9 and 12, and she misses the baby stage. And my kids love babies too, so we're all set.

Hahaha, I'm not sure Nic would go for that!! At least you can justify a shop visit someday as a "baby visit"..
