Electric case decision: Reunion Blues or Gator?
I need a padded bag to haul my '64 Jaguar around on the subway. It's my first electric and so far I've been using the inexpensive sleeve that came with the purchase, but I'd like something a bit more weatherproof and with some padding. I like to wear it on my back but another handle is also a requirement.
A quick perusal on Amazon shows that Reunion Blues and Gator seem to be the top contenders, but I'm stumped about models and would love a reco from someone who owns a new-model (that is, easily available) bag they love. |

Lot's of choices from $ to $$$.
Reunion Blues and Gator make decent bags. Here's a couple more: http://ritter-bags.com https://monocreators.com |

I love gig bags and use them when ever it seems appropriate. Either RB or Gator are fine. I especially like the sling straps but always sling one over my shoulder and keep my hands free that way, plus I can unload the instrument from my back instantly should the need arise; I never carry it backpack style. I only want something on my back if I'm jumping out of a plane.

If you’re not considering the Mono M80 line, especially the Vertigo, you should give them a look. Exceptional quality, absurdly over-engineered, and clearly built by people who know the needs of a guitarist.
