Default NAD: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV

Just got the new version IV HRD a couple days ago.

I already own a version III. The changes they made in the IV make a huge improvement IMO.

The most successful amp in Fender history. There you go.

The knobs and grill cloth doesn't do too much but the others do. Enjoy your IV.

Is the drive channel useable? I've always had decent luck with them, since the clean channel takes pedals so dang well, but I've never been able to get an acceptable tone out of the drive channels.

Congrats on the purchase!

Yes it is.
On the HRD III I had to change the V1 preamp tube from a 12AX7 to a 5751 and the V2 to a 12DW7 to make the drive channel usable.
