Fender Blues Junior - tweed- it's a special edition by Guitar Center

Need I say more? It's just beautiful.

That's a real nice kit you got there! I've had maybe four Blues Juniors, great amps. Never had the NOS version before, how do you like it, is it overly bright in the top-end or have they smoothed that out a bit?

Congrats! Those Blues Juniors as sweet amps. Do you have an OD pedal to go with it?

Happy Thanksgiving!

If so, an Eminence Cannabis Rex or Swamp Thang and a set of these tubes will sweeten things up (same setup I use in my Bugera V22):

Love those Eastmans, BTW...

Default Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Thanks for all the good words.

Pheof, I think it's bright. But this is my first eletric guitar and amp. So I am yet to learn lots of stuff.

Dru, OD pedal - don't have it yet. I need a primer on all this stuff really. Need tips on how best to use this combo and what pedal and other accessories I can use. I mainly plan to play blues/jazz on this.

Thank you.

If you're planning to play blues and jazz, you may not need an overdrive pedal. I have one that I use with my Blues jr, but I can get away with leaving it out most of the time and just playing the amp clean.

Cool. Keep the amp's treble where it sounds balanced to you, then roll down the pickup's tone to 7 or 6, you might try backing off your guitar's volume control to 9 or 8 too - backing off the guitar's controls contributes to jazz tone much better than trying to get the amp to do it alone. Personally, that is a heck of a nice rig!

The t386 is an incredible semi hollow. I switched out the armstrong pickups for Seth Lovers and changed out the wiring. It competes with anything out there - incredible sounding and playing guitar
