Angry the big list of guitar cheats

guitar cheaters - they're out there.

i'll start with some of the big ones. please help by contributing to this list:

capo
open tunings
picks
electronic tuners
frets

Don't forget pedals/effects...I'm pretty sure pickups are cheating too.

Them recorders that slow down without changing pitch

I'll also include guitars that you didn't make yourself, starting first by planting the tone woods.

Several people here at the AGF have claimed that not only pickups are cheating, but that it isn't even acoustic guitar.

Opening tuning is definitely cheating.

Ever notice how players who use open tuning periodically lift their fret hand off the fretboard? Sometimes the hand just has nothing to do.
Looks kind of like the Queen waving to the peasants.

That's gotta be cheating.
