Default Yamaha LS6M

Got an opportunity for a good deal on used LS6m. Before I make the trip to take a look, anyone have the model and would offer an opinion? I have the LL6 but not very overly excited about the tone. Was the thinking the Hog sides and back would sound different (more base or low end), but it is the smaller body.

My style is NO pick and finger strumming. Kind of s hybrid between finger picking and strumming. I've gotten use to the fatter neck and like the string spacing.

Thanks

Wondering if you mis-wrote or if you have a misunderstanding. I believe the top is spruce with laminate mahogany side and back.

You right. Sorry about that. Just wondering if the lam mahogany sides and back had much of an impact on the sound ?
