Default Peter Case

A couple overdubs here and there but his album, "Let Us Now Praise Sleepy John" is almost all just Peter's vocal and guitar. Great songs!

Texas Campfire Takes by Michelle Shocked, a Sony Walkman recording. She missed her slot at a folk festival, and ended up playing this impromptu concert for one.

Roddy Frames 2002 Surf album is a mighty fine one man and his guitar effort.

Bruce Cockburn - Slice O' Life

Of course, when you talk "minimalist", rather than simply "minimal", I think it's a misnomer, as minimalism is a type of modern music typified by composers such as Philip Glass and Steve Reich.

Glad to see someone else nominate this album. (Bruce Cockburn - Slice O Life) This has also become my favorite album of his. I especially love World of Wonder acoustic and If a Tree Falls in the Forest. What an amazing guitar player!

You should have seen the tour live. It was even better.
