Thank you, Tom. This is very nice of you.
Steve Kinnaird is a special guy to our family, too. He should have been here so we could have shared my slice of birthday cake. But, fact be told, I managed to eat the whole slice just fine all by MYself.

Just back home from the show. Awesome guitars and venue! What always amazing me are the amazing shows that go on during the show. You pay $30 for two days and you can sit in a room 20 ft from just great players. I was absolutely blown away by Claude LaFlamme playing a 20+ string? Harp guitar. I have heard harp guitars before but his mastry of this instrument was pretty much beyond belief. Also the instrument which appears in above posts was about perfection across the entire range. I couldn't find a UTube that matched his performance.

After that I said to myself who can follow that? Then came Melissa Greener. A amazing singer songwriter. Such beautifully crafted songs. Lyrics, melodies, and great performing talent. Those two were worth my entire trip. And never heard of either before last weekend. Here is a UTube of Melissa. My favorite song she did is new and has not been recorded.
