Takamine EF440SCGN
This is basically a New Takimine EF440CGN (purchased brand new about two weeks ago). With a cedar top and mahogany back and sides it really is one sweet sounding guitar. Since it is brand new it has only been played a few times. It has no scratches, marks, or blemishes whatsoever. It even still has the sticker on the pickguard.
This guitar is from Takamine's Pro Series, so it was Made in Japan. It comes with premium appointments, like a bone saddle and a bone nut. It is Takamine's NEX style so it is great for fingerstlye, blues, intimate picking, and strumming. I'm selling to finance a Spruce topped guitar. Also, this particular model is discontinued, so it is very rare to find a new one like this. I'm asking SOLD. Paypal payment only. No international shipping. Free shipping to anywhere in the Continental United States. Please PM me with any questions. Last edited by jya101; 02-27-2016 at 08:12 AM. Reason: Sold |

Takamine EF_440_SCGN
I've owned this model for 7 years and I love the play-ability and tone...which is fantastic.
Some good advice for the new owner: You'll want to keep this guitar ( Solid Cedar Top ) well humidified. I keep mine in its case and with a homemade humidifier ( Soundhole ) and with a Humidity gauge, that attached to the outside of the case and with a probe that remains inside the case. I keep the humidity level at between 45% at the lowest, to 60%. Solid cedar handles higher humidity very well., but solid cedar doesn't handle low humidity well, at all. ****Do you mind me asking what your asking price was??? |
