that was enjoyable. it's always a pretty tune. i liked your chords and your singing. the tempo was a little bit free-form, but it can work in a song like that. thanks.

Thank you MC. Kind of you to take time to comment. And I agree I tend to be a bit tempo challenged. But you're right this tune is very forgiving in that aspect.
Cheers mate!

Hey FB, that was spectacular! Different from what you've often posted, and really enjoyable. Obviously that took a lot of work, but it sounded really warm, really inviting and cool.

ONe of the thinks that I enjoy about your posts is that you often introduce me to new (to me) and different music, so thank-you brother.

Steve

Thanks Steve!
You're right I did put in some work on that one. A bit out of my comfort zone. When I got something together that was presentable it was a small achievement for me.
Cheers old mate...and back at you for song choices...there were many in your "song of the week period" that I hadn't heard before you bought them to light!

its an emotional song, and you really bring that out in your style. Nice subtle chords with that free style really compliments your voice

Very nice

Don't hear many good guitar renditions.

I liked it! You kept the accompaniment light, which seems important for such a subtle and mysterious melody.

Well done, solid vocals. Would love to listen to a version where you play an archtop and wear a bow tie...

I was surprised to see this dug up from the vault. I guess maybe Feb 14 was an influence.
Anyway thanks for your comment Crystal!

Cheers Mau. The archtop / bowtie version also includes a jazz-hat and crimson velvet smoking jacket.
It's a rare and splendid thing
