I took the guitar with me to The Music Emporium this week as I was checking out their great inventory. Andy looked over this A12, felt it was set up very well, and said it was good to go!
I'm still hoping to get $3499 for the guitar, which I think is an excellent price. But I want to move it on to its next owner, so if it doesn't sell soon, I will entertain offers. Thanks! |

This is simply a ridiculous price. About 50% of new now. These guitars never last 2-3 days in past. People fall all over themselves for mass manufactured brands in this price range. Hope someone sees the bargain and takes advantage soon.

It's difficult to believe this Froggy is still available. I wish it had been on the market two years ago when I bought my H14. I paid a lot more and still consider that a good deal. This is not just a great deal, it's insane. Somebody better buy it before the seller comes to his senses!

This sounds like a GREAT deal. However, I think here is the problem:
This 1997 Froggy Bottom A-12 Standard is a 00-size concert guitar with a strong, responsive voice. The tone is warm and balanced, and is great for fingerpicking. Mahogany back & sides. Spruce top. 1 11/16" nut width. 25" scale length. I would guess that if it was 1 3/4" nut with appropriate string spacing at the saddle, this guitar would have been gone as fast as people in this thread claim. Tony

This Froggy is still available. Several people have been interested, but no one has pulled the trigger as yet.

My old Mahogany A is great for everything - finger picking and strumming. Lovely instrument - if I didn't have so many...
Bump from Ireland on this Monday morning.

bump for errr...a guitar I really want. I just want to see it gone so I can stop coming back to this thread.
it is a great price for a froggy. I've been thinking about adding and 12 fret 00 or 000 but ugh...not sure the lady would go for it when we're trying to save up for a new house. has the nut width I most prefer which you don't see on too many 12 fretters. I've never done any horse-tradin' online. If I lived closer I'd definitely come check it out. GLWS
