Havent been around in a while...life has taken it turns.

This past week I received an unexpected inheritance from Mom, who left us in the fall.

So I purchased a 2014 Larrivee 000-40R. Ive been playing her ( named Jenny after my Mom) this morning. Quite taken with the simplistic beauty, and the voice of the guitar. It has the ability to boom, or be soft. The 12fret configuration is something I haven’t own before.

Congrats in your new Larrivee! All the 40 series I've heard have been great. Sorry for your loss...hopefully "Jenny" will remind you of wonderful memories every time you play...

Condolences on your loss, I think the Larrivee will serve you well in remembrance of your mother. Enjoy it for years.

So sorry for you loss. I fell in love with a 000-60 awhile back, but it had a 1 13/16" nut...a bit wide for me. What's your 000?

Tone-wise this 000-60 was phenomenal!!

That looks like a good one. I hope you like the 12 fret configuration. I love them.

I like how you named it after your Mom. No doubt this guitar will always have special significance for you. Good guitar, too.
