One would think if they had complaints of uncontrollable
bass that they would add control as opposed to downsizing
The speaker. i would love to a/b these two systems.
As i agree with an above post that this thing may honk badly.

Thanks Cuki! That's great information.

Between the new battery powered Eon and Maui, I suspect NotValid is now salivating and scheming a way to convince his wife that the column array is actually a low cost (and very tall) coat rack. When she objects, he'll offer to keep it in the garage or basement.

Or, perhaps, he could purchase a large fern or ficus tree and affix the leaves to the array to pass it off as a new house plant.

We'll keep thinking of things NotValid. We've gotta look out for a brother with G.A.S.!

I am sure that myself and many other members would volunteer to store NotValid's new PA system at our homes just to help out. I'll even go as far as saying we'd even be willing to play out with it to keep it working well. Anything to help a brother out!

You are a true gentleman.

NotValid, I hope you don't the joking around. :-). Considering the severity of my G.A.S. affliction, I probably need to join a support group. Unfortunately, this is the support group I joined. Not helpful.

I swear they are watching us. I put down the phone for a week come back and now this. The JBL ONE Pro and the Maui 5 Go. Im glad I held out and didn't buy anything last week. I wonder what happens if I wait another week or two.
An RFC version of the Mackie Freeplay? Laney 4X4X8? Or some weird new kind of PA that we've never seen before. Since they are watching us lets start making weird requests like a TRUE 6 channel mixer that can be remote controlled and pre orders free drinks before the last round is finished. For example.

Definitely.
We just have to wait one or two more weeks to make the wish come true

Spoke too soon. LD Systems P900. The P is for Porsche as it was a collaboration with the Porsche Design Studio.

No real info other than the typical "Its revolutionary" marketing burp.
Still the the Maui 5 Go Get Me Another Drink might be worth waiting for.

On the picture, above you see a german guy interviewing a JBL sales man at the JBL booth in Musikmesse where the JBL eon Pro was released.

Can you see the panel on the upper right? It says - BOSE professional -.

I think they received the message. Summer NAMM may be fun this year

I've been busking with the Laney AH4x4 since its release. Do you guys think I should jump on these new battery-powered options when they arrive? Or give them a year or two to settle into something mature because every company seems to be doing something based on the concept now!

At least wait for the thing to settle in price wise. The Mackie Freeplay is just now starting to settle in price, 1 year later.

Reynolds Wrap Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil forms easily and holds its shape. For best protection from all forms of electromagnetic radiation, grounding of hat to a handy, basement, copper, cold water pipe is highly recommended!

Excellent advice Ken. I'm off to the grocery store.
