FYI, I've settled on D'Addario EXP17 Coated Phosphor, Medium, 13-56. I find that the thicker strings reduce the amount of unintended noise and simply play and sound better to me. I found light strings to be a bit too "loose"-feeling on my (admittedly older) X7.

I have continued on my quest for strings for the X7. I decided that I didn't like the Cleartone EQs so tonight I put on a set of Santa Cruz Low Tension Parabolic Strings. They sounded really nice on this guitar.

I just got some SC strings well... maybe on my CH-OM as I put some ClearTones on the Savoy.
