Default Is SoundSeat still in Business?

I've been trying to contact Soundseat.com for a few days now by phone and email. Their answering machine message says they are "continuing in JR's tradition'. I'm not sure what that means. Does anyone here know the family or what's going on with Soundseat? I was hoping to order one for Christmas.

This pops up every once in a while. It takes his widow a few days to get back to you but she always does. Your patience will be rewarded, though, with personal service.

Yes, they certainly are in business. It's a small shop without a telephone receptionist... they will get back to you. Be patient... it's worth it. I've talked to them in the last week and they're going strong!

I just got mine earlier this month. My back is happy. Well worth the money. I would recommend you talk to them on the phone as opposed to ordering on line as you can describe your size and sitting preference and they'll fit it to you.
The default gas lift cylinder would have been a bit too long for my preferred low seating position. Took 2-3 weeks, so you better hurry.

That's encouraging, thanks.
If it takes 2-3 weeks, then I'm already too late for Christmas.

Yes, they are definitely still in business -- and swamped with orders for the season. They just don't pick up the phone, being super busy building chairs. Leave a message and they will get back to you. But you are probably too late for Christmas delivery at this point. Each chair is made to order.

Mine arrived last Friday, even though I told Bretta that it could easily wait until after the holidays. This is my second Sound Seat.

Bretta called today and we had a nice visit. Ordered a seat and it should be here next week.

Thanks for all the encouragement. I was getting worried, but feel much better now.

Hey, glad to hear it! I had a feeling that would happen. I'm delighted everything worked out.

When I placed the order I selected parts they had in stock. I just got the shipping tracking # and it's scheduled for delivery Wednesday, plenty of time for Christmas.

Fantastic! I'm so glad to hear that. Bretta's quite a good lady to work with, isn't she? I'm looking forward to mine.

Congrats...

Yeah. You missed that window but you can order it now and wrap a copy of the order for the tree!
I think I waited three weeks before getting a call to discuss my online order , and folks here had advised that was the case.

Worth the wait!!

I don't know. I told Bretta mine was not a Christmas gift and she could put it behind all the gifts. So, anytime is fine with me.

I gotta say that my Soundseat is the best music related thing I ever bought that isn’t a guitar. You’re going to like it. A lot.
