David Wren Concert- UK based
Up for trade is a stunning David Wren Concert model.
This is what Linda Manzer said of this actual guitar, "David Wren's guitar was simply awe inspiring - to look at - gorgeous, to play - I couldn't put it down. One of the most inspiring builders ever." All specs below. I particularly like the sound port and the arm bevel. It also comes with a nice book with pictures of various stages of the build. Hankering for a more traditional Martin design, ideally am 000/OM or a Dread. If I had the money to buy another and keep this...blah, blah, blah! Trade value- £3000. * Master Grade Lutz spruce top * Old growth East Indian rosewood back and sides * Arm bevel * 14 frets to the body * 25.4” scale * 1 23/32" nut width : * Soundport * 2 3/16" string spacing at saddle : * 16” lower bout * Mahogany neck * No cutaway * "Wren" inlay logo at 5th fret * Snakewood top border * Snakewood bindings * Snakewood headstock veneer * No position markers (with side dots) * Spalted maple rosette * Ebony fretboard * Ebony bridge * Premium Gotoh 510 tuners * Ebonoid tuner buttons * Bone nut and saddle * Bone bridge pins * Shellac finish * Clear pickguard * Ameritage case Last edited by dangee; 06-25-2016 at 11:42 AM. |
