Default 1992 Collings D3 Brazilian / Adirondack (Calton) - SOLD

1992 D3 Brazilian/Adirondack in excellent condition in an older Calton case. Nicks, but nothing through the finish. The original Kluson tuners were replaced by Waverlys, and the original tuner borders are visible. $6,500 via wire transfer, including overnight shipping. 48 hour approval, with shipping both ways on the buyer in the event of a return. Prefer cash sale, but can't hurt to offer a trade.

1 3/4"

Recently completed a sale of a McCollum to a happy forum member. References available. The pictures are older ones. The condition of the guitar has not changed, and I'm happy to take fresh pictures for interested buyers.

Far and above the most beautiful Collings guitar I have ever seen. That includes D42's, 45's and anything else out there. I love this guitar.

I owned this guitar for a year or so a few years back and it is very, very good.

I played a '93 at Retrofret in Brooklyn yesterday. Easily the best guitar in the room for the dollar, IMO, and that is saying a lot!

Good thing my daughter was there as my Guitars Anonymous sponsor, or I would have been scheming about what I would have to sell to take it home with me.

That's the one, alright. Best guitar I have ever held in my hands.

I am grateful to the folks at Retrofret for showing me such courtesy. Quite an education in playing some of the best guitars in existance.
