Default DONE Bought a Breedlove

I bought a Breedlove from the factory and love it. The neck action is awesome. the tone is clear and powerful. The looks with Myrtlewood back and sides are stunning as well. Very happy with this decision.

I play out quite a lot and do a good number of cover tunes using my six string guitars. But now I decided to look for a nice 12 string for some of my songs that call for it. If you have one that needs a new good home, please PM me or just reply to this thread. Right now the only spec is I prefer a narrower neck than some 12's have.

I've been chomping at the bit for either a Taylor 150e or Guild D 12 (lower-end models but either go for under a grand)...would prefer an older, upper end model but those are a lot pricier...have you looked at/considered either of those yet?

Eastman 12 string dreads are exceptional quality for the dollar. THis is a great price for a brand new one. https://reverb.com/item/3376726-eastman-e6d-12

1 3/4" nut isn't at all a bear, feels and plays great.

All PMs replied to. Keep the offerings coming and thanks. Still interested in seeing what is available though a few nice 12's have showed up.

I don't know where you live, but if you're in the area...

About 3 weeks ago, I traded a 1977 Takamine 12-string on a Guild 12. This model has a nicely broken in solid spruce top with laminated rosewood back and sides. It also has a slightly narrower nut width than many 12-strings. As of 2 or 3 days ago, it was still available at the Sam Ash store in Buffalo Grove, IL, priced well within your range.

In the new department I think the imported Breedloves or Guilds are the best bang for the buck. I like the Breedloves a bit better.

On the used market you can generally find a Larrivee -03 series or Taylor GA3-12 in the $900 range.

Sent you a PM on a Larrivee.

I have a Taylor 360e for sale that is mint. Asking firm $1250 shipped.
I know that it is a bit more than you want to spend but is worth it.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks
Wizzle

Look at a Yamaha LL-16 R 12, of course make sure it's the ARE with Engelmann top. Amazing 12 string for peanuts by price comparison and has the narrower nut. You'll not be disappointed. And a low risk guitar for gigs. I'm amazed each time I play mine.

best luck.

Bought a Breedlove Oregon Series with Myrtlewood back and sides with a nice Spruce top. Very easy to play. Very awesome tone. Loving it. Thanks for the suggestions from everyone here.

Congrats. I really like my Breedlove 12 string. IMO, Breedlove makes some of the nicest 12 string guitars. Enjoy!
