Sound followed by payability followed by styling. I love other brands, but Taylor will always hold a special place for me. It was my first great guitar.

Worry less about the guitars you want. Play the guitar you have more.
The answer will come, and it will not be what you expect.

A guitar is a tool, and a friend. But it is not the answer.

It is the beginning.

Best thing about this, no matter which you pick as your favorite, you get the others along with it. I picked playability, but really, its the combination of all of these that lead me to Taylor.

That's so true! There are other manufacturers that offer some of the benefits listed in this poll but Taylors seems so well-rounded in that they excell at all of them!

Tom has it right, "Value." Of course, all of the items in the poll, and probably a few more, contribute to a Taylor's "value." Its sound might be first, but without the others it wouldn't be a Taylor.

It's the way Taylor Guitars packages all those great attributes into one music making machine that makes for great value, not any one or two of those attributes by themselves. (We could add great dealers to the list - they're definitely part of Taylor's Value Package!)

I wish I could have chosen more than one. I did choose sound, but also up there is playability.

I believe everyone would agree that it was because ALL of the above are true that we decided to get Taylors. And it's difficult to rank them! But if I had to go with just ONE or TWO factors in determining my choice of a guitar, it's got to be tone and playability...both of which are distinctively Taylor's competitive edge.
