By far my favourite acoustic amp (although I haven't tried some of the really high end stuff listed above) is an SWR California Blonde. It's a good, simple 1x12 amp that gets plenty loud. I haven't tried one of the newer ones made after Fender acquired SWR, but I've heard that they are worse than the originals.

Anywho, just my two cents. I wish I could afford one.

I'm really pleased with my Acoustic Image Ten2. It's very transparent and natural sounding with loads of power.

Another vote for the Acoustic Image Ten2. I love mine, got it cause I play bass but it is terrific for acoustic guitar (and electric). Really transparent and LIGHT-easy to carry.

Wow, i have one of those DTAR in my Guild and that isn't my experience at all. Love its sound.
