Default Hatcher Parlor Model for sale

I offering this flamed bacon figured African Padauk and Swiss alpine Spruce guitar for sale;

Padauk has proven to be a great sounding wood, a little more toward rosewood than mahogany and the figure is just something you may not see again.

The master grade Swiss "Moon" spruce is gorgeous and a perfect match for the back. This has my uniquely designed recessed black Ebony strap button arrangement inside the Florentine cutaway. You'll notice the colorful radial Padauk top purfling setting off the Black Ebony binding;

The next photo shows the open headstock with lightweight and smooth Schertler open tuners. The head plate is Black Ebony and it has a Padauk backstrap There are additional purfling lines of ebony and Bloodwood throughout. This guitar also comes with a very comfortable and stable New Hampshire Sugar Maple neck;

Here is a sound sample;

Additional specs;

25" String Scale
1 3/4" bone nut and 2 1/4" spacing at the bone saddle
Sound Port
Padauk neck center laminate
Semi hemispherical finished fret ends on bound ebony fret board
Gold MOP Stylized g clef 12th fret inlay
White MOP side fret markers
14" lower bout

This is a very comfortable guitar to play and sounds much larger than it actually is.

Something new I designed into this guitar was the sculpted Black Ebony on the back around the heel area. I wanted a flowing line in the binding rather than the usual step between the cut away and the heel cap;

Default It's all in the details

There are a lot of additional details to be found built into this guitar like the Bloodwood purfling line between the fret board and sugar Maple neck;

Default Padauk Pina

I have played this fairly recently - very nice guitar, small-bodied and comfortable to play, with a real nice balanced and pleasant sound. If you ever play it, you'll remember it. I don't have to talk about it's looks, the photos say that more elegantly than I can.

Default Sound Port

This guitar has a simple and effective sound port;

There are a number of advantages of sound ports, you can hear yourself better, which can come in handy when playing with others. Sound ports tend to enhance the trebles for the player which makes up for the trebles you loose sitting back there behind the guitar. Easier to get a pick out . Here is one a client just passed on to me, "It relieves backache because I'm don't find myself leaning over the guitar when I play".
