Here's a shot of my three that I use for blues..

Left to right - Alvarez AP66SB, Gibson J-45, Seagull Coastline Folk.

Yes, the folk is in there. I put a sound port in it, brass pins and with Ernie Ball AB or Martin Monels its a perfect blues box.

Sounds like you can coax the blues out of anything, Barry. I could never get the blues sound I wanted out of my J-45. One of the reasons I sold it. Though it's such a great guitar for almost everything else, it's the only one so far I kinda regret selling.

Of the four the Gibson L-1 is the one that conjures up "the blues" for most people:

But really all four play the blues very well:

The 45 is a great guitar, but your current herd is awesome, Roy.

You'll get no argument from me on that one, my friend.

I play country blues fingerpicking on all kinds of guitars, but here are 2 classics for classic blues sounds....1937 Gibson L-0 and 1944 Martin 0-17.

I don't play a lot of blues - strictly speaking, but my current one and only is a blues monster, the Santa Cruz 1929 00.
