Default Nice practice session with my amps....

Good night for presets tonight...

For the Fender GT40 I downloaded a preset which emulates Dire Straight's Money For Nothing.

and for the Marshall Code 25 I downloaded a preset which emulates Eric Clapton's acoustic version of Layla.

Both presets sound great and just like the song.

So I practiced both songs and had a very productive session.

These amps are cool !!

The intro to Money for Nothing has such a cool tone. I think it was played on a Les Paul. How close do you get to the song?

Very close....I'm still learning it and need practice, but the tone is right there. That's what makes practicing fun again....The preset notes say to use a humbucking pickup, select the bridge pickup and turn the tone control down. I have humbuckers on my Gretsch. So it works out really good.
