Well as it turns out sure enough it was the 8th tube over. I replaced it with an old 12AT7 I had and it works. I bought this amp in about 1995 and had it retubed some years later maybe around 2000. I remember the tech saying the tubes in it were really really old but still worked so I kept them. They are Westinghouse tubes from God knows when but sure enough still work. I'll probably go ahead and buy a new one anyway just to have a fresh one. But funny isn't it. I replaced a brand new tube with one that is 30 years old to get this thing to work again

Thanks for all the help to everyone.
