Default bought a temp used amp

after trying many amps at GC, i still like my frontman 25r, being a cheap amp it developed that annoying buzz, visiting my local pawn shop, i ran across a Line 6 spider 30, i guess its the 30watt model with a celestion 12" speaker, it had all the paperwork and looked in really good shape, he said $40 bucks i can have it, so i got it for that price, the clean channel seems decent, the crunch is ok, but i have no use for the metal and insane channels, so until i find another frontman 25r, this amp will have to do

Can't beat $40 for 30 watt Line 6, nice!

I got a Spider amp in a package deal with a guitar once, and I found it to be a fun little amp to mess around with. I'm keeping my tube amps, but I've never really turned my nose up at the Line 6 stuff, like some other players.

I've got a Spider 15w that I bought 10 years ago just to keep in the corporate apartment I was staying in at the time (travelling for work). It served it's purpose. Like you, the Insane setting is terrible, the metal was workable though. Makes me enjoy tube amps even more.
